Mr. Mato Golubovic, a veteran of the Croatian War, is facing the daunting task of rebuilding his home for the second time in 20 years. His house, previously damaged during the war, was completely destroyed by the earthquake. Similarly, Mr. Stjepan Vrbanac, another war veteran, had his house burned down during the war and has now experienced complete collapse from the earthquake.
